Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of BatchKit, including the free toolkit and Lifetime Pro access.
1. The service
BatchKit is a browser-based image-processing toolkit. Features may include resizing, cropping, compression, format conversion, renaming, transforms, watermarks, metadata removal, saved presets and other image utilities.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of the images and other content you process with BatchKit. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions required to use that content. You must not use BatchKit to violate copyright, privacy, law or the rights of another person.
3. Local image processing
The normal image-processing workflow is designed to run locally in your browser. Your selected images are not uploaded to BatchKit servers for processing. Some account, payment and preset features necessarily communicate with online services.
4. Free plan
The Free plan may include limits on batch size, formats or advanced features. We may adjust reasonable Free-plan limits over time as the service evolves.
5. Lifetime Pro
Lifetime Pro is sold as a one-time purchase for the BatchKit account used at checkout. It unlocks the Pro functionality offered by BatchKit and includes future Pro updates that are released for the current BatchKit product. “Lifetime” refers to the commercial lifetime of the BatchKit product/service, not the lifetime of an individual person.
Lifetime Pro is for the purchaser's own account and may not be resold, sublicensed, shared as a paid-access service or transferred without permission. You may use BatchKit to process images for personal or commercial projects, provided you have rights to the source material.
6. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address used for your BatchKit account. You must not attempt to bypass plan restrictions, impersonate another user or interfere with the service.
7. Purchases and taxes
Paid transactions are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Checkout, tax collection, receipts, payment methods and transaction processing are subject to applicable Lemon Squeezy buyer terms in addition to these Terms of Use.
8. Refunds
Refund requests are governed by the BatchKit Refund Policy and applicable consumer law. Lemon Squeezy may also exercise rights and responsibilities as merchant of record.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep BatchKit useful and available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. We may improve, replace or retire features, fix errors or make security changes. We will not intentionally remove the core value of a valid Lifetime Pro purchase without a reasonable substitute where practical.
10. No warranty
BatchKit is provided on an “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Image transformations can affect quality, metadata, color or compatibility, so you should keep originals of important files and review outputs before relying on them.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatchKit is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of data, lost profits or losses caused by misuse of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for BatchKit during the transaction giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Termination
We may suspend access for fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful use or material violation of these terms. Legitimate consumer rights and completed transactions remain subject to applicable law.
13. Governing principles
These terms are intended to operate alongside mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in your jurisdiction. If a provision conflicts with a right that cannot legally be waived, the mandatory rule controls to that extent.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as BatchKit evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version.
